Million Dollar Nile held a vote for where to donate $1,000 from the proceeds of the sale of our first album, The Definition of Adventure, to advance the cause of sustainability. You voted and the winner was Transportation Choices Coalition!
Previous post from our Nomination page
Let’s be serious for a sec: climate change is scary. Sea level rise, food scarcity, disease. And the same goes for a host of other environmental, social, and economic issues: We, as a people and as a generation, have some serious work to do.
That’s why we’re donating all the money we make from this album to organizations working to make this world sustainable. Which organizations, you ask? That’s where you come in! First, you nominate organizations. Then, we put out the list of nominations for a web vote. Then, we send the top vote-getter a check! Our first $1,000 check will be announced on June 11th at the Tractor Tavern.
